There's nothin' wrong with givin' nicknames. I do it all the time. But the trick is to find one that fits 'em better than their own name, so you can just remember that one. And if it fits 'em that well and they don't like it, they just got a problem with themselves, and well, shit, you're not here to deal with all their little personal issues.
