How much do you take into consideration how much your inmate likes you (or dislikes you, I guess) ?

If I were to know about it? I would do my level best to convince them to reconsider their course of action- or, if they were resolute in carrying out their folly, I'd likely find a way to restrain them physically from doing so, such as depriving them of whatever instruments they will attempt to use, or keeping them confined to their quarters until such time as they relinquish the concept.

There are several Brians aboard, if I recall; however, the specifics shouldn't alter the decision. There is always<>/i> a way. If you feel that his decision will force an unwanted regression, then you must put a stop to it, and find a way to elicit his understanding as to why he must relinquish it. That is what we're here to do for them.
