They eat people. But ev'ry now an' again, they ..pick a human for companionship. Sometimes a lover or a child. And. They bite them, but don't kill 'em. And when they share some of their blood s'.. It makes a bond, I guess. Their body dies, an' when y'come back. Er- you're a vamp.
